Meet the Home Inspector

Our goal at Bayside Home Inspections, LLC is to provide thorough, honest, and comprehensive home inspections. Our commitment to you, the client, is built on dedicated professionalism and the utmost integrity and responsiveness. We know buying a new home can be anxiety provoking. Our mission is to provide you with an unmatched client experience when it comes to inspecting your home.

A little about myself...I picked up my first hammer when I was 8 years old living in Upstate New York. I grew up watching and helping my father who was an electrician and a handyman. I soon learned, that like my father, I was very comfortable helping other people fix things in their homes. This passion for helping other people is why I enjoy being a Home Inspector. I believe it is the job and role of a Home Inspector to protect people in making sure properties they are investing in are safe and structurally sound.

 

In my early 20's, I moved to Herndon, Virginia where I became an electrician like my father. I worked both in the residential and commercial industries. I then went on to own my own company for 25+ plus years as a residential and commercial contractor. During that time, I  completed numerous renovation projects, for example bathroom and kitchen complete remodels, building decks, porches and additions, as well as numerous electrical system projects. I also provided custom woodworking (e.g., wall unit book shelving systems). On the commercial side, I managed tenant build-outs for office spaces and many retail build-outs.

 

During this time, I also studied for the National Home Inspection Exam and Passed. The years of residential and commercial construction gave me the depth of knowledge and experience I am now able to apply as a Home Inspector when evaluating homes. I was always thinking forward throughout my career that being a Home Inspector was ultimately the profession I wanted to be in to help and protect people.

In 2011, I transitioned from owning my own company to working for an insurance restoration company as a Project Manager for residential and commercial insurance claims. In this position, my experience and knowledge was even more developed in truly understanding all details involved with complete residential renovations. I acquired a keen eye to identifying potential costly issues and safety flaws.

In 2016, my wife and I moved to Delaware from Northern Virginia to enjoy the quality of life the eastern shore has to offer. We enjoy kayaking, nature walks and spending time with our family, friends and two labs Benny and Macy.

I am a licensed and insured Home Inspector in the State of Delaware and look forward to providing you with a detailed, thorough, and honest assessment of the property you would like inspected.
