Dear Valued Client,
In light of the coronavirus pandemic, we thought it would be helpful to share with you our thoughts on home inspection safety during this unprecedented time.
First and foremost, we consider the safety of our clients and ourselves as priority number one. Please note, we are adhering to the CDC Guidelines for America, ASHI guidelines for home inspectors and following the State of Delaware mandates on “essential” business activities.
Home Inspections fall under “essential” business as a technical consulting service within the Delaware mandate. While we are able to continue to provide inspections during this time, there are safety measures that need to be taken. Home Inspectors are being advised to provide inspections solo without the client(s) being present during inspection (to include buyers, buyer’s children, extended family, realtors, sellers, etc.).
We know this is not ideal and perhaps an inconvenience – quite frankly, we enjoy having you present during the inspection process! But in the light of the current situation, we feel it is in everyone’s best interest to adhere to this guideline to limit exposure to the coronavirus.
Please call us to discuss your individualized needs. We are happy to share with you the specific safety measures we will take during your home inspection.
We appreciate your patience! Please stay healthy during this time...
Sincerely,
Joseph S. Cusumano, Owner
