What does a home inspection cover?
​
A home inspection provides an objective, independent visual examination of the physical structure and systems of a house. This includes the foundation to the roof. Bayside Home Inspections, LLC provides clients with a detailed, knowledgeable, and thorough assessment of all major systems of a home, including inspection of all major appliances.

The Home Inspector's job is to provide insight and education to potential buyers on the conditions of all major systems and components of a home, as well as any health or safety concerns.

All information is provided in a comprehensive inspection report that is sent via email to clients. Hard copies are available upon request at no additional charge.

A home inspection provides valuable information for the client, specifically including:

Structural Systems - Foundation, framing, crawlspace, basements, etc. Evaluating the overall structural integrity of the property.

Exterior - Wallcoverings, doors, windows, decks, steps, walkways, driveways, vegetation, and grading.

Roof Systems - Roof coverings, drainage systems, chimneys, skylights, and other roof penetrations.

Plumbing Systems - Interior water supply and distribution system, faucets and drains, vents and flues, water heating equipment, fuel storage and distribution systems, sumps.

Electrical Systems - Service entrance and conductors, cables and raceways, over-current protection, ground-fault circuit interrupters (GFCI's), arc fault circuit interrupters (AFCI's).

All home inspections include a comprehensive report with detailed pictures. The home inspection report is sent via email to a client within 24 hours after the inspection is completed. The report is generated as a PDF file that can be saved, printed, and emailed as needed. Hard copies of inspection reports are available for a charge of $75.00 report.
